Landmark projects

PANGANI BRIDGE

Pangani Bridge construction underway.

This is one of Tanzania’s landmark infrastructure projects designed to improve coastal connectivity and unlock new economic opportunities along the Tanga-Pangani-Saadani-Bagamoyo Route.

Spanning 525 metres across the Pangani River, the Pangani Bridge is set to transform mobility. Once complete, it will replace ferry crossings and enable safer, faster, and more reliable transport for people and goods.

What does this major development deliver?

A permanent river crossing linking key coastal regions.

Improved trade and logistics along the northern coastline.

Better access to tourism destinations, including Saadani National Park.

Enhanced market access for farmers, fishermen, and local businesses.

Stronger regional and cross-border connectivity within the East African coastal corridor.

Msalato International Airport

We believe that building national infrastructure is a shared responsibility.

Msalato International Airport is a powerful example of what happens when strong partnerships and high-quality materials come together.

A modern airport terminal that can serve up to 1.5 million passengers each year.

Strong and safe paths for planes to move and roads for cars to access the airport.

Supporting infrastructure including control tower, rescue facilities, fuel systems, and utilities.

From the foundation to the structures now over 85% complete, Simba Cement has played a key role in driving this transformative project forward.

We are proud to support Tanzania’s journey to better connectivity and economic growth.
